FoodBusiness ERP 2025 R1 introduces comprehensive audit functionality to simplify and streamline regulatory compliance.
Separation of Duties for SOX Compliance
Building on the standard security capabilities of Sage X3 combined with SOP, we’ve implemented a new control framework with dedicated transaction-level controls for separation of duties to address Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. You can now separate users for creating/modifying and posting transactions across multiple functions:
- Customer and supplier BP invoices
- Sales and purchase invoices
- Payment receipt/entry
- Batch functions including invoice posting, validation, and bank/cash management posting
User Security Validation
- Security Audits: A new security audit report allows you to verify the completeness of the security roles set up in Sage X3
- Configuration Validation: Run a report to verify that users have the required access rights and restrictions based on their roles in accordance with generally accepted security practices
User Transaction Audit
- Enhanced Monitoring: Track user actions for audit support
- Regulatory Compliance: Support for FDA requirements
- Security Investigation: Identify who performed what actions and when
Electronic Signatures
- FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance: Credential validation including username, password, and change reason documentation
- Broad Application: Electronic signature capabilities for Production BOMs, Sub-contracting BOMs, Commercial BOMs, Routings, Products, Suppliers, and Customers
Built-in Sales Commission Management
In today’s competitive business landscape, a robust and flexible commission program is crucial for motivating your team and driving revenue growth. FoodBusiness ERP now includes a comprehensive sales commission management system with end-to-end control of all aspects of your commission program. Using this built-in functionality, you can now:
- Setup and Manage Commission Programs – centralized program configuration with active/inactive status, effective dates, priority settings, and SPIFF support
- Resolve Commission Disputes – a closed-loop dispute resolution process with automated notifications allows sales reps to flag issues and submit them for review with accompanying documentation to resolve common issues such as missing invoices or incorrect payment rates or amounts.
- Manage Payments – automate the payment of commissions to reps. Managers can filter by program, period, or sales teams with options for grouping or splitting payments, and report on payments using summary and detailed reports with appropriate security controls. Flexible payment options include track-only, accruals, payment requirements, delay options, and GL/dimension control.

Reduce Days to Pay with Preauthorized Debits
FoodBusiness ERP now supports more timely and convenient Accounts Receivable (AR) payments with support for preauthorized debits.

With new Accounting Date Support, FoodBusiness ERP customers now have the option to use accounting dates instead of current dates.
